Each Rooted to Remember gathering offers something new to explore. With a rotating monthly theme, guest voices, and hands-on creative experiences, these afternoons are designed to inspire fresh ideas and meaningful connection. It's a space to learn together, exchange stories, and build relationships naturally - no pressure, just presence.

Snack and drinks are provided, making it easy to slow down and enjoy the time spent creating in community.

Sewing and Crocheting Stories that Last

A Beginner's Sewing & Crochet Workshop

Hosted by Rooted Vision Photo Club with a local sewing and crochet artist.


Threads of Time is an introductory, hands-on creative workshop for curious beginners who want to explore sewing and crochet in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore a sewing machine, handle materials, ask questions, learn about the basics of each craft, and try their hand at creating a seasonal crochet pumpkin with a cinnamon stick. Along the way, they'll have the chance to connect with other creatives, enjoy light refreshments, and discover which creative pursuits might be worth exploring further.

This is not about leaving as an expert. It's about leaving with a little more knowledge, a little more confidence, and perhaps a new creative interest.
